Background
Malcolm was born on 6 August 1888 at High Street, Grantown on Spey, son of Margaret and Donald McIntosh.
By the 1891 Census Malcolm’s family had moved to High Street, Kingussie where his father is described as a boot-maker.
In 1911 aged 22 Malcolm was working as a Bootmaker, High Street, Kingussie.
He was a member of the Kingussie Camanachd Cup winning shinty team in 1914. Malcolm had one older and two younger brothers and three younger sisters.
War Record
Malcolm was killed in action on 13 August 1917, aged 28 at Ypres and is buried at The Huts Cemetery.
