Kingussie’s World War Two Casualties

The Kingussie War Memorial records the names of 23 casualties from World War Two. They died in almost every theatre of that war which was truly “a world wide war” including India, North Africa, Italy, Normandy and Germany. They are mainly buried where they fell but as in the First War some have no known graves and are commemorated on Memorials to the Missing.
