Son of Sumundar Khan and Sahib Noor, of Badyal, Hazara, Pakistan and husband of Said Jun. He was a sergeant in Mule Coy and his age was given as 43 Years. His father was already deceased. He died of tuberculosis of peritoneum 1 month 5 days. His death was registered by the medical officer of the I.M.Dept. at Carr Bridge.
The inscriptions on the gravestone, in Arabic, reads “Ho Val Ghaffoor – He, the Forgiving One” and below from the Quran “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’oon – Indeed we belong to Him (God) and Indeed we return to Him.”
