Son of Kala Khan, of Sahib, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. His rank is that of a driver which is a mule driver. His usual address is given as Sahib Post Office, Mandra, Tehsie, Rawalpindi. He died from an intestinal obstruction (volvulus of the small bowel) peritonitis. His death was registered by a Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps. (Military Registration).
The inscriptions on the gravestone, in Arabic, reads “Ho Val Ghaffoor – He, the Forgiving One” and below from the Quran “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’oon – Indeed we belong to Him (God) and Indeed we return to Him.”
